Biography

I was born in Mississauga, Ontario, and have lived there most of my life. I got into music early in life, starting piano lessons at age six as well as singing in as many choirs as I could get into.

I went to the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario and received my Bachelor of Music (Honours Theory and Composition), graduating with the highest average in my program. After that, I went to the Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology, an all-round audio school, and again graduated at the top of my class, winning awards for Creativity in Sound Design and Music Recording and Production.

After school, I moved back to Toronto. After a number of internship positions I got a full-time job working in the audio and video departments of Optix Digital Pictures and Sound.

In my free time, I still love to play the piano, and I sing with the Amadeus Choir in Toronto. I also love sports, especially volleyball; reading, mostly in the fantasy genre; and writing – I recently completed my first novel.
